The talc mineral, whose chemical composition is magnesium silicate, Mg3Si4O10(OH)2, is the softest mineral found in nature and has a hardness value of 1 on the Mohs scale. It has a slippery and leafy (platy) structure. Micronized talc is resistant to high temperature, electric current and acids.
In the paper industry, it is used as a filling material to increase opacity and printing properties, as well as for pitch control. Micronized talc used in the plastics industry, it reduces the density and increases the durability of the plastic. In the paint industry, micronized talc products are used to increase the durability of the paint, as well as to control the viscosity, and also contribute to the surface coating properties of the paint.
Apart from these sectors, the talc minerals that we supply are processed in our facility specifically for the needs of various sectors such as the agricultural pesticides sector, ceramics sector, rubber sector and packaged in accordance with the needs of our customers.
